Shipping & Returns
- All orders are shipped VIA the USPS or UPS. Please allow 3-5 business days for shipping notification.
- **PLEASE NOTE** Exception to this is reclaimed wood items. All reclaimed wood pieces are made to order unless specifically marked "in stock" or "ready to ship". Due to current high volume of orders please allow 1-2 weeks for a shipping notification. If an item is needed sooner for a gift for example, please contact me and I am more than happy to help!
- Shipping costs are set based on weight and buyer location as calculated by the United States Postal Service. I know that paying for shipping is the least fun part of online shopping. As a small operation we've done everything we can to keep rates as low and fair as possible and do not charge handling or other fees!
- Most domestic orders should arrive within 3-7 business days of being shipped (depending on chosen shipping method). Once your item ships you will receive a confirmation email with tracking number.
- Insurance/Signature Required/Expedited Shipping services are available, but NOT automatic, and prices may vary accordingly. If you are interested in having something expedited please contact us.
- Please make sure your preferences and delivery address are correct before ordering. Fernweh Home is not responsible for any orders delivered to the incorrect address. All orders returned to sender due to an incorrect address will be re-shipped at the buyer's expense.
Fernweh does sell to the US and Canada but please keep in mind that shipping outside of the US can be expensive. If you are interested in shipping to Canada, please fill out the form below and we will get back to you with the calculated shipping costs and all other info. Thanks!

We want you to be fully satisfied with all purchases from Fernweh Home so have any questions or concerns about a recent purchase please email us and we are more than happy to work with you to find a solution!
- We are happy to accept returns or exchanges if contacted within 7 business days of delivery.
- *Non returnable items include any sale items or rugs
- Return cost is responsibility of customer unless we are at fault.
- Item must be received in the original condition (unwashed, undamaged)
- Upon receipt and approval of return a refund will be processed to original method of payment.
- If an item arrives to you damaged or please contact us immediately.
- Please keep keep in mind that most items are handcrafted and handwoven and are not mass produced. Many items have unique characteristics and quirks that we consider to enhance their story and charm. These details are not considered defective.
