  • All orders are shipped through the United States Postal Service Please allow 2-4 business days for shipping notification.

  • **PLEASE NOTE** Exception to this is reclaimed wood items. All reclaimed wood pieces are made to order unless specifically marked "in stock" or "ready to ship". Turnaround times are updated on each listing. If an item is needed sooner for a gift for example, please contact me and I am more than happy to help!

  • Shipping costs are set by the United States Postal service based on size, weight and customer location.

  • Once your item ships you will receive a confirmation email with tracking number.

  • Insurance/Signature Required/Expedited Shipping services are available, but NOT automatic, and prices may vary accordingly.

  • Please make sure your preferences and delivery address are correct before ordering. Fernweh Home is not responsible for any orders delivered to the incorrect address. All orders returned to sender due to an incorrect address will be re-shipped at the buyer's expense.

  • Local Customers! (Terre Haute, Indiana and surrounding communities) If you would like to save shipping costs and do a local pickup please use the coupon code LOCAL when checking out! This will zero out your shipping costs and we will email you when your item is ready for you. *Please note* to use this option you must be able to pickup your item in Terre Haute.

We want you to be fully satisfied with all purchases from Fernweh Home so have any questions or concerns about a recent purchase please email us and we are more than happy to work with you to find a solution!

  • We are happy to accept returns or exchanges if contacted within 7 business days of delivery.

  • *Non returnable items include any markdown items or anything purchased during a sale.

  • Return cost is responsibility of customer unless we are at fault.

  • Item must be received in the original condition (unwashed, undamaged)

  • Upon receipt and approval of return a refund will be processed to original method of payment.

  • If an item arrives to you damaged or please contact us immediately.

  • Please keep in mind that items are handmade in our home workshop and are not mass produced. Many have unique characteristics and quirks that we consider to enhance their story and charm. These details are not considered defective.
