Shipping & Returns
- We try our best to ensure that the product images used on our site accurately depict the colors and nuances in each product. However, computer monitors and lighting vary, and we cannot guarantee that the images on your screen are a perfect portrayal of the real thing.
- Please remember that each Fernweh Home item is handcrafted and often made to order. We feel the details and even little imperfections to add charm and character and will not be considered "defective".
- All orders are shipped VIA the USPS and cost of shipping is automatically determined by the United States Postal Service based on customer location and size and weight of item(s). As a small operation we work hard to keep shipping costs as low as possible and keep everything is house so there are no "handling" charges here!
- Insurance / Signature Required / Expedited Shipping is available, but not automatic, and prices may vary accordingly.
- If you need to cancel an order you just placed please let us know within 24 hours, after that point we will be unable to cancel your order.
- If you purchase items from different catagories (example 1 Falsa and 1 Reclaimed Wood item) items are usually shipped together unless otherwise specified by customer. If you need an item shipped separately or expedited we are more than happy to work with you.
As we are a small business please allow 5-7 business days to receive a shipping notification. Please make sure your preferences and delivery address is correct before ordering. Fernweh Home is not responsible for any orders delivered to the incorrect address. All orders returned to sender due to an incorrect address will be re-shipped at the buyer's expense. Most US items should arrive between 3-7 business days (depending on chosen shipping method). Once your item ships you will receive a tracking number via e-mail.
At this time all sales are final. We are happy to offer exchanges on all blankets if we are at fault. Example: in the highly unlikely event that you receive the wrong blanket or one arrived to your damaged we will send you a replacement immediately.
Reclaimed Wood Items
Please allow up to 14 business days for a shipping notification but if you need an item expedited please email and we are more than happy to work with you. Because all products are custom built to either listing or customer specification we are unable to offer returns. Please keep in mind that because we are working with beautiful reclaimed and salvaged wood each item is going to be totally unique and one of a kind for your home! Color will vary from photos as literally no two boards are the same. The obvious exception to final sale would be if an item arrives to you damaged during shipment. We ensure that each item is in perfect condition upon shipment, but If your order arrives damaged:
- please take a clear photo of the damage
- save all of the packaging until UPS is able to conduct an evaluation
- contact me within 48 hours of delivery
Fernweh does sell internationally! However, at this time we are not able to provide USPS calculated shipping for overseas orders. Please contact Grace@fernwehsupply.co for a shipping quote.
